UNN Postgraduate Admission General Entry Requirements

Before applying online for UNN postgraduate programme ensure that you meet the minimum criteria expected from every aspirant and Admission seekers.

First all prospective postgraduate students need to have at least 5 credits in their O level results.

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

Applicant here need to be an HND or BSc holder of nothing less than a third class graduate (2:00).

MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMME

Applicants here need to be a graduate from reputable university with at least 2.50 GPA. While applicant coming with a postgraduate Diploma need to have 3.5 GPA.

DOCTORATE DEGREE (Ph.D.) PROGRAMME

You should have a master degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.

Note : the CGPA is usually calculated in 5 point scale.

Duration of UNN Postgraduate Programmes.

Postgraduate Diploma (Regular & Sandwich) :you all will have to spend just two semesters and 3 semesters respectively.
Master degree : you all have to spend just 3 semester if it is full time and 5 semesters for part-time.
Ph.D. degree Programme: PhD students need to spend 6 semester for those who are applying for full time whole part-time will spend 8.

TRANSCRIPTS:

Your transcripts from your previous school is needed but first you have to download the transcript request form from the UNN postgraduate portal.

Take the downloaded form to your previous school ask them to do the necessary things and forward it to The Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka
